NO BLACK BOX
Investing Sidekick is a financial research screen, not a forecast or a tested investment strategy. A score of 80 does not mean an 80% chance of making money.
Each component is capped between 0 and 100. The overall score is their simple average, rounded to the nearest whole number. All four components must be available to rank a company.
We use full-year US GAAP facts from 10-K filings. Duration facts cover 330–380 days and must match the revenue period; comparison revenue must end approximately one year earlier. The newest filed value for each annual period is used, so restatements may change older values. This is not a point-in-time backtest dataset. Banks, insurers and other unusual accounting structures may not be comparable.
Valuation, current share prices, momentum, news, forward estimates, management quality and sector adjustments are not included. Annual financial data can be old. Missing tags or company-specific accounting extensions can leave gaps.
The financial atlas plots historical revenue growth against operating cash margin; neither axis represents fair value or stability. Circle size is uniform in financial mode. Valuation mode uses manually supplied, dated forward-P/E snapshots, with circle area representing market capitalisation. Comparisons require the same date and earnings horizon, positive earnings, and at least two selected peers. Discounts are relative multiples, not intrinsic undervaluation. No automatic size, growth or risk adjustment is applied. The sector groups are discovery aids, not validated peer sets.
Development trees are curated and incomplete. Solid historical nodes document milestones; current nodes describe capabilities supported by the cited source as of its date. Dashed future nodes are company goals, not forecasts. Lines group related capabilities and do not prove technical dependency. Targets never automatically become achievements. A USP and an inferred moat are different; moat hypotheses need independent testing. Coverage starts with Apple, Microsoft and NVIDIA, and is not an exhaustive account of their businesses. Scenario outputs are user assumptions, exclude dividends and are not price targets.
